Where Science Meets Artistry

Jeannette is an elite voice coach specializing in high-performance vocal training, while also guiding beginner and intermediate singers and speakers in developing confident, healthy, and expressive voices. She is an accomplished professional singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, session musician, and producer whose career reflects exceptional artistic achievement and international versatility.

Her professional experience spans songwriting, music production, live performance, recording, and advanced vocal coaching. Throughout her career, she has collaborated with acclaimed recording artists, award-winning producers, dignitaries, and audiences across Canada and internationally. Combining decades of industry experience with evidence-based vocal training, Jeannette helps performers, professionals, and emerging artists unlock the full potential of their voice with technical precision, artistry, and confidence.

Jeannette's teaching is grounded in evidence-based vocal pedagogy, informed by contemporary voice science, anatomy, physiology, acoustics, and the principles of vocology. She is committed to lifelong professional development and continually integrates the latest peer-reviewed research into her teaching, ensuring her methods remain current, effective, and aligned with evolving scientific understanding.

To maintain the highest standard of instruction, Jeannette completes advanced professional education each year in areas including breath management, vocal acoustics, vocal registration, anatomy and physiology, motor learning, neurodivergent learning, trauma-informed teaching, voice disorders, voice habilitation, voice rehabilitation, vocal health, and the psychological factors that influence voice use and performance. This ongoing commitment allows her to provide clients with training that is both scientifically informed and individually tailored to support safe, efficient, and sustainable vocal development.

Jeannette also maintains a trusted network of healthcare and allied professionals to whom she refers clients when specialized assessment or treatment is appropriate. Referrals may include, but are not limited to, concerns involving emotional well-being, tongue-tie (ankyloglossia), speech and language disorders, laryngeal or vocal health conditions, chronic muscle tension or stiffness, postural or muscular imbalances, and other concerns that fall outside the scope of vocal coaching.

Jeannette believes the hallmark of a great voice coach is understanding one's professional limitations, and thus, pulling in the right network of professionals to support the individual as a whole.

A pivotal influence in Jeannette’s career was her collaboration with friend and Juno Award–winning producer 2Rude (Richard Coombs) of Rudimental Records, an experience that sharpened her insight into the music industry, artist perspective, and production.

Some of Jeannette's work has been featured on BET’s Lift Every Voice, and she has collaborated creatively in writing rooms and studio sessions with Juno Award winners and nominees, as well as Grammy-nominated artists, including Glenn Lewis, Esthero, MaestroJellestone, and more.

A formative chapter of Jeannette’s career was spent writing, training, and performing alongside Michael Hanson of Glass Tiger.

One of Jeannette's most distinguished stage appearances include performing with Donny Osmond in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at the Sony Centre; as well as, an exclusive operatic performance for Prime Minister Stephen Harper at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, where she performed in Mandarin as part of an operatic trio alongside one of her former Voice Coaches, Ms Mariana Dhima.

Jeannette is also a Guinness World Record holder with Epidemic Music Group for The Longest Concert by Multiple Artists, contributing to the historic event as a performer, stage manager, and talent booker.

Jeannette's international performance career spans Paris, Rome, London, Miami, and prestigious venues throughout Ontario. She has been featured at high-profile events, festivals, weddings, and private engagements, including performances for the late Gino Empry. Jeannette has also recorded vocals for commericials and ads for various companies.

In addition to her live and studio work, Jeannette has appeared in background roles across film and television, including The Virgin Suicides (Kirsten Dunst, Josh Hartnett, Hayden Christensen), The Famous Jett Jackson(stand-in for Britney Spears, and worked alongside Destiny’s Child), On the Line (Lance Bass and Joey Fatone of *NSYNC), Animorphs, and other productions.

With decades of experience across stages of every scale, Jeannette brings a rare depth of understanding to the craft of performance—balancing technical precision with emotional nuance. Her expertise naturally expanded into professional speaking, leading to the development of the Speaker and Broadcaster division of her vocal coaching practice.

A formidable songwriter, Jeannette maintains an expansive catalogue of independently written and co-written works, spanning instrumental composition, vocal performance, and lyrical authorship. She is also a published children’s author, further reflecting her commitment to storytelling across artistic disciplines.
