Do I need prior singing or professional speaking experience?
No. Voice coaching sessions are for all levels—from absolute beginners to advanced singers and speakers.
What ages do you teach?
All ages - there is no minimum or maximum on who voice coaching sessions are accessible to.
What styles do you teach?
Pop, musical theatre, classical, jazz, rock, R&B, worship. Our speaker program is well suited for any individual that speaks for a living; from broadcasters to front-facing working professionals.
Do you offer a trial lesson?
Yes. We offer a free, no obligation 30 minute assessment for anyone who'd like to feel more comfortable prior to taking the next step.
Coaching Sessions & Structure
How long are sessions?
Typically 30, 45, or 60 minutes for in-person and online. Customized session times are also available.
How frequently should I be engaging with voice coaching sessions?
Most clients attend once per week for consistent progress; however, we're happy to work with your schedule and preferences. Some clients will schedule in solely to prepare for an upcoming audition, performance or speaking engagement. It really depends on what YOUR needs are - we'll meet you right there.
What happens in a voice coaching session?
They are individualized and goal-driven. They typically include warm-ups, technique work, songs, and performance or musicianship skills, including mic work and more.
For speakers, lessons are individualized and goal-driven as well. We'll work on vocal technique and speech clarity, then apply those tools directly to your speaking or broadcast material to ensure immediate, practical results.
All voice coaching sessions are completely customizable.
Will I learn to read music (vocalists)?
This depends entirely on the client's individual goals—some coaching sessions may focus more on ear training and style, others on notation and sight-singing, whatever is requested.
Technique & Progress
Can voice coaching sessions help if I feel “tone-deaf”?
Yes—pitch matching and ear training are skills that can be developed.
Will these sessions help build my confidence?
Absolutely. Many clients come to the studio with confidence building as a primary goal. As technique becomes deeply conditioned, the voice transforms into a reliable and expressive tool in both professional and personal environments.
How long before I see improvement?
Many clients experience noticeable shifts quite early—often within the first few sessions. As the work becomes integrated and well conditioned, those changes settle into a reliable, confident vocal presence that continues to strengthen over time.
Pricing & Policies
How much do voice coaching sessions cost?

Do you require a monthly commitment?
No. While It is preferred; we also provide pay-as-you-go options for greater accessibility, including completely customized plans that revolve around your specific needs and wants.
What is your cancellation policy?
We require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for rescheduling with the exception of unforeseen circumstances; such as, inclement weather, sudden illness or personal emergencies. We are also able (if needed) to move an in-person lesson online if the client is still able to participate in their lesson. If a client is frequently rescheduling, we may suggest that they revisit coaching sessions when they are better prepared for the commitment involved.
Do you offer packages or sibling discounts?
Absolutely. Contact us to inquire about what we can do for you. We believe music and vocal empowerment should be accessible to everyone.
Logistics
Do you offer online voice coaching sessions?
Yes! We are proud to offer both in-person and online sessions. Jeannette regularly trains vocalists and speakers from around the world via our online platform.
What should I bring to my lessons?
Water (preferably room temperature or warm), sheet music/lyrics/text we are currently working on, and a notebook to keep yourself organized/have quick and easy access to all working materials. Some students prefer to utilize their phones or laptops to keep themselves organized. We support either modality. Online sessions require a headset, computer or tablet, and a stable internet connection to get the most out of your time with Jeannette.
Do I need to practice between coaching sessions?
Yes—regular practice helps reinforce technique and speed up progress. While there is no expectation from our end, just know, you will get out of it whatever you put it into it.
Performance & Goals
Do you help with auditions or performances?
Yes. We have extensive experience helping clients prep for upcoming events of all sorts, including speaking engagements, shows, and recording sessions.
Do client's perform in recitals?
We have historically hosted recitals at local venues which came to a halt with Covid. We are planning to resume these wonderful events as they are a great opportunity for our client's to network and showcase their hard work, while practicing their performance and delivery skills. Recitals are never mandatory.
Can voice coaching sessions help with vocal health or strain?
Absolutely—healthy technique is a core part of voice training, whether you're a singer or speaker. It helps minimize or prevent vocal injury and encourages optimal usage - making sure you get the most out of your voice! They are not a substitute for medical advice.
